The player can transform an item into a different upgradeable item by selecting it and pressing the green button with an arrow for reroll. This will change the layout and allow players to choose up to six items to be used for "recycling". The item will be replaced with an item of level 1. Recycled items won't keep their status, nor will the resources used to upgrade them.

The highest level of upgrade an item can achieve is determined by its tier and the quality. Rare and Epic items are able to be upgraded to levels up to nine, whereas common items can only be upgraded to level six. Upgrades to items are added to the base statistics of the item and do not increase after a certain point.
